Thats why alcoholism has attracted much public attention and interest of the researchers.The modern concept of alcoholism includes the psychosocial and neurobiological foundations and consequences of alcoholism. neurobiological research explains addictive behavior by the dispositional factor of monoaminergic dysfunction, neuroadaptation, and sensitization.
